Business Central integration
Clean, reshape, and move Business Central data without a developer
Morph is a no-code tool that connects to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, pulls records out, cleans and reshapes them to your rules, and delivers them onward, or creates and updates cleaned records straight back in Business Central.
What it does
What can you do with the Business Central connector?
Out of Business Central
Pull records on demand or on a schedule: customers, vendors, items, sales and purchase documents with their lines, ledger entries, and the financial reports. Morph cleans and reshapes them with your rules, then delivers the result to another system, a Google Sheet, a folder in Google Drive, OneDrive or SharePoint, or a CSV download.
Into Business Central
Going the other way, Morph creates and updates records in Business Central, invoices and orders with their lines included. Each record is matched on a field you choose, so a migration or a monthly load can run again safely: it updates what it wrote last time. Drafts stay drafts unless you ask Morph to post them.
The mess
Common Business Central data problems Morph fixes
| Problem | What Morph does |
|---|---|
| Exports from Business Central need tidying before anyone can use them | Rules normalise dates, trim and rename fields, and reshape rows the same way on every run. |
| Invoices and orders arrive one row per line | Read documents with their lines, one row per document, or write a file of lines back as whole documents. |
| Migrating another system's customers, items and invoices into Business Central | Map any system's export to Business Central's fields and write them in. Re-running updates the same records instead of duplicating them. |
| Columns don't line up with the destination's template | Reorder, rename, merge, and split fields to match exactly what the target needs. |
| The same cleanup, repeated for every company | Rules are reusable: point the same rule at another company's connection. |
How it works
Three steps, then it runs itself
Connect Business Central
Use your own Microsoft Entra app, Morph's app once an administrator approves it, or your Microsoft sign-in. Then pick the environment and company.
Set your rules
Clean, map, and reshape by clicking. Do it once, reuse it across companies.
Automate it
Run on demand, daily on Starter, or hourly on Pro and up, pulling only what changed.
Your data stays yours. Morph processes source data in transit. It doesn't copy your Business Central records into a warehouse. Read, transform, deliver.

FAQ
Business Central integration questions
How do I connect Business Central to Morph?
Three ways. Register your own app in Microsoft Entra and enter its details in Morph, or have an administrator approve Morph's app once. Either way, the app is added on Business Central's Microsoft Entra Applications page with the permission sets you choose, and nobody has to stay signed in, which suits scheduled runs. Or sign in with your Microsoft work account, and Morph acts as you with your permissions.
Which Business Central records can Morph read?
Customers, vendors, contacts, items, employees, locations, bank accounts and projects; setup tables such as currencies, payment terms and units of measure; sales quotes, orders, invoices, credit memos and shipments; purchase orders, invoices, credit memos and receipts; journals; G/L and item ledger entries; and the aged receivables, aged payables, trial balance, balance sheet and income statement. Invoices and orders can come with their lines, and scheduled runs can pull only the records changed since the last run.
Can Morph write data into Business Central?
Yes, with your permission. Rules can create records, update the ones that match a field you choose (such as the customer number or a document's external number), or do both. Sales and purchase documents are created with their lines in one request, and can be posted afterwards if you ask. A posted invoice is never changed. Payments and journal lines are written into a journal batch you name.
Does Morph work with several companies?
Yes. Each connection works with one company in one environment, so connect once per company. You can switch a connection to another company from the integration's menu.
Does Morph support Business Central on premises?
Not yet. Morph connects to Business Central online. Exports from an on-premises installation work through the CSV and Excel upload.
Which plans include the Business Central connector?
Every plan, including Free. Business Central counts as one of your plan's connections: one on Free, three on Starter, and unlimited on Pro and up.
