Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations integration

Clean, reshape, and move Finance & Operations data without a developer

Morph is a no-code tool that connects to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, pulls data entities out, cleans and reshapes them to your rules, and delivers them onward, or creates and updates cleaned records straight back in.

What it does

What can you do with the Finance & Operations connector?

Out of Finance & Operations

Pull any data entity on demand or on a schedule: customers, vendors, products, orders, journals, posted invoices, or your own entities. Morph cleans and reshapes them with your rules, then delivers the result to another system, a Google Sheet, a folder in Google Drive, OneDrive or SharePoint, or a CSV download.

Into Finance & Operations

Going the other way, Morph creates and updates records in one legal entity, orders, invoices and journals with their lines included. Each record is matched on a field you choose, so a migration or a monthly load can run again safely. Posting stays in Finance & Operations.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself

1

Connect Finance & Operations

Use your own Microsoft Entra app, Morph's app once an administrator approves it, or your Microsoft sign-in. Then enter the environment address and pick the legal entity.

2

Set your rules

Choose the entity and fields, then clean, map, and reshape by clicking. Do it once, reuse it across legal entities.

3

Automate it

Run on demand, daily on Starter, or hourly on Pro and up.

Your data stays yours.Morph processes source data in transit. It doesn't copy your Finance & Operations records into a warehouse. Read, transform, deliver.

FAQ

Finance & Operations integration questions

How do I connect Finance & Operations to Morph?

Three ways. Register your own app in Microsoft Entra and enter its details in Morph, or have an administrator approve Morph's app once. Either way, the app is added in Finance & Operations under System administration, Setup, Microsoft Entra applications, with the user whose security roles it should use, and nobody has to stay signed in. Or sign in with your Microsoft work account, and Morph acts as you.

Which data can Morph read?

Any OData data entity your environment publishes, by name, including your own. Morph lists the common ones: customers, vendors, contact persons, products, sales and purchase orders, free text invoices, pending vendor invoices, general and payment journals, posted sales invoices, main accounts and setup tables such as payment terms and units. Every read is limited to the legal entity the connection uses.

Can scheduled runs pull only what changed?

Only where Finance & Operations keeps a timestamp. Most standard entities, including customers, vendors, products, orders and journals, have no modified date, so Morph reads them in full each run. Contact persons and posted ledger vouchers do have one, and a rule can name its own date field for any other entity.

Can Morph write data into Finance & Operations?

Yes, with your permission. Rules can create records, update the ones that match a field you choose (such as the customer account), or do both. Documents are written header first, then their lines. Morph doesn't post anything: posting stays in Finance & Operations, where your team or a batch job does it.

Does Morph work with several legal entities?

Yes. Each connection works with one legal entity, so connect once per legal entity. You can switch a connection to another legal entity from the integration's menu.

Which plans include the Finance & Operations connector?

Every plan, including Free. Finance & Operations counts as one of your plan's connections: one on Free, three on Starter, and unlimited on Pro and up.
